This is a book in which every reader must find the proper rhymes for himself! The storyline, unfinished rhymes and illustrations provide enough clues for the child to ‘complete the poem’ on his or her own, guessing the unnamed protagonist and guess the word with which the empty space should be filled.
The small collection of poems, illustrated by Edmunds Jansons, is aimed at the whole family: it includes nursery rhymes and dandling rhymes for toddlers, as well as poems featuring a more complex imagery, suited for an older children.
The book won the Jānis Baltvilks Prize and was staged at the JRT Theatre.
