The Logbook

"The Logbook" is Inese Zandere’s literary diary, comprising notes, articles, fragments, letters and conversations from the time when she was an editor of the magazine Rīgas Laiks. Entries of the diary are dated chronologically from 1994 to 2007.

Although the publication harks back to Inese Zandere’s time at Rīgas Laiks, not all of the included texts were written for the magazine. Readers of “The Logbook” will find not only essays and articles published in Rīgas Laiks, but also texts previously unpublished and those that the author had signed with a different name.
